Stephanie’s writing

My speedwriting:

The Children’s Room at the library is enchanted.  Faeries live behind the fishtanks and sprinkle dust between the pages of books at night.  In the morning the sun shines through the windows onto the train track, the doll house, and the barn that the kids play in.  They sometimes try to take the rocking chairs inside the barn, but “that is not allowed” says the librarian in a stern voice, even though they fit perfectly as if they were made just to go inside that barn.  The paintings on the wall and on the windows are magic and come alive when the adults aren’t paying attention, which is a lot of the time.  The storybook characters on the back wall dance and play and reenact their tales.
